Chassis Unlimited “Octane Series” rear bumper ships to your door ready to install, complete with a 3-Stage texture black powder coat. This is our high clearance non-swing-out version, increasing your off road ground clearance and providing additional protection over the flims factory plastic bumper cover.
This is our High Clearance rear Bumper, Designed for offroad use. Most Installations are completed in a few hours or less.
The Octane series bumpers bring an entire new style to the bumper market and offer an industry-first low-profile fitment with aggressive styling. The Octane series rear bumper is designed as a three-piece bumper, and ships ready to bolt to your vehicle. All of Chassis Unlimited’s products are designed & manufactured in California.
Most installations are completed in a few hours or less with basic hand tools; the bumpers directly bolt onto your vehicle. Side support brace may require welding or drilling and bolting to the frame with HD self tapping screws (not included).
This bumper replaces your factory tow hitch with a welded in hitch.
*DISCLAIMER* The factory hitch receiver/ crash bar must be removed. There is no rating for the integrated hitch receiver. These are produced in a low volume compared to the OEMs or aftermarket receiver hitch companies. As such, it's not feasible to get this product tested against SAE J684 specifications or design it meeting specific DOT or FMCSA regulations. Towing a trailer on public highways is at your own risk, and we make no claims on the legality or viability of doing so. We cannot offer any recommendations on capacity beyond this. If the ratings of the factory receiver hitch are important to you, we would recommend choosing a receiver that maintains those ratings.
**VEHICLES WITH PARKING SENSORS** Sensor housings are not reusable. Sensor Housings for 2014 GMC Sierra/ Silverado are recommended. If factory wiring harness is too short, the final pigtail may need to be extended.
**VEHCILES WITH BLIND SPOT MONITORING** Please select option for blind spot monitors! Bumper will include cutouts and mounting points for blind spot radar.
